There's a young girl in LA grinding, trying to push her sound..her name is Freddy Hefner. The singer/rapper has had my attention for awhile now,starting with her jazzy, South Central, game spittin' midtempo #Downtown. Besides the fact that she's pretty, she's very relatable to the types of situations my generation goes through. In her documentary style video "Chillawn", she works a crowd and goes through the motions of her day to day. Freddy is known for her around the way girl charm,singing lines like, "I'm a Sagittarius, niggas wanna marry us, but it's hard for me to trust..". Watch her swing her pony from the studio to the stage.
